After the negotiations are complete for the Repair Request you are ready to move toward closing escrow!
Here is when a checklist really comes in handy! And, wouldn’t you know I have one handy!
Every purchase is unique…but here are a few common items to watch:
- Does your lender have all the information the need from you? Updated pay stubs, bank statements…
- Have you returned all paperwork to Escrow, including the statement of information?
- Are you prepared to move the down payment money by wire transfer or cashiers check?
- Have you scheduled Utilities for your new home? Water? Electric? Trash? Cable?
- Who is going to move your belongings? Have you made Flexible arrangements?
